We are a social enterprise that manages “Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival,” an arts festival that studies the relationship between art, people, and society, and works to solve social problems through the use of art.
Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival” is scheduled to be held concurrently with Expo ’70 Osaka-Kansai in 2025, with the aim of spreading the appeal of art in the Kansai region to visitors from Japan and abroad. In the “Art Tourism” program, art specialists involved in Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival will spotlight Kansai’s art and introduce deep art spots and culture that are still unknown.
The tour is led by three professionals who are active in Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival. Art producer Hiroaki Sumiya oversees the planning and produces a high-quality trip. Kobe-based creative director Hirotsugu Matsumoto will serve as through guide. Event director Kumiko Ishigaki will also serve as tour assistant.

Takenaka Carpenter’s Tools Museum
The only museum in Japan that specializes in exhibiting carpentry tools. Visitors can enjoy the multifaceted techniques and spirit of the carpenters and craftsmen who have supported Japanese wooden architecture.
■KH Gallery Ashiya
An artist who works with Hiroko Koshino will guide you through the gallery, designed by Tadao Ando, where Koshino’s paintings and other works are exhibited.
■Church of the Wind
A special visit to one of the “Church Trilogy” designed by Tadao Ando, along with the “Church of Water” and the “Church of Light,” which will be open to the public only during the event period.
■Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art/Museum Road
On the second floor of the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, there is the “Ando Gallery” where Tadao Ando’s architectural models and line drawings are exhibited. The road from the museum to the Oji Zoo is called “Museum Road” where visitors can enjoy various public art.
■Awaji Yumebutai
Awaji Yumebutai is an artistically rich cultural complex designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando that evokes an image of coexistence with nature. Located just across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, visitors can enjoy the impressive view of the natural beauty of the four seasons and Ando’s architecture.
